Robin Shelton is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Morton County Health Clinic with over seventeen years of experience in the medical field. She graduated from Western Oklahoma State college with her ADN in 2006 and then completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Oklahoma in 2012. She went on to pursue her lifelong goal to become a nurse practitioner and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at Midwestern State university in August of 2021. She has a background in emergency and critical care nursing. While in school she worked full time and assisted with the care of COVID relief efforts by caring for critically ill patients in NYC during the initial outbreak in 2020. She is passionate about her job and can treat patients that range from infancy to the elderly. Robin is excited about moving to Elkhart and looks forward to assisting her patients and empowering them to be knowledgeable and in control of their health. She believes in patient centered care and feels that shared decision making is a vital part of healthcare. She will be residing in Elkhart with her two children who will start school next year and both she and her children look forward to becoming a part of Elkhart.
