What Is A Registered Apprenticeship?

Registered Apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers develop and prepare their future workforce. As an apprentice, you receive paid work experience, progressive wage increases, classroom instruction, and a portable, nationally recognized credential.

The Five Key Components

1 Industry Led Programs are industry-vetted and approved to ensure alignment with industry standards. Apprentices are trained for highly skilled, high-demand occupations.
2 Paid Job Registered Apprenticeships are real jobs. Apprentices earn progressive wages as their skills and productivity increase throughout the program.
3 Structured On-the-Job Learning & Mentorship Programs provide structured on-the-job training guided by an experienced mentor, preparing apprentices for a successful long-term career.
4 Supplemental Education Apprentices receive tailored classroom education based on each employer’s unique training needs, ensuring quality outcomes and career readiness.
5 Industry Credential Upon completion, apprentices earn a portable, nationally recognized credential that opens doors across the industry – wherever your career takes you.
